17  AI Tools in Excel

This chapter is optional – it isn’t covered on any assessment.

While this module has focused on R, there are AI tools for Excel too. This chapter covers two tools: Copilot in Excel and Claude in Excel. Both tools are able to edit the workbook directly, rather than just writing code for you to copy and paste. Unfortunately, both require a paid subscription. If you are working in Excel in the future, you may want to explore these tools.
